Sports Ministry

The Sports Ministry at Sunset Church sponsors various sporting events and teams throughout the year. These activities are focused on amplifying Christian community and creating opportunities for developing Christian character attributes. What a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and to have loads of fun doing it!

Sporting events include our annual Golf Tournament and sponsoring various teams for the CCU Summer Leagues for Basketball, Softball and Volleyball. Most recently, Sunset Church sponsored our first annual Table Tennis Tournament at our facility. It was such a success that there will surely be another next year.

Chinese School

Sunset Chinese School is a language and cultural educational program for children from 6 to 12 years old. The school year runs from late August to late May on Saturdays, 1:00-3:30p.m. with five levels of instruction. The primary teaching language is Cantonese with English as a supplement. The small group classes offer instructions in conversation, reading and writing skills, while large group assemblies teach biblical lessons. The school also conducts regular workshops for the parents. Please refer to the school brochure for tuition and material fees details.
